Key Responsibilities:
Exterior Detailing:
- Wash and dry the vehicle’s exterior, including wheels and tires.
- Apply wax, polish, and sealant to protect the paint and enhance the vehicle’s finish.
- Use specialized equipment such as buffers, polishers, and rotary machines to remove scratches, swirl marks, and other imperfections from the paint.
- Clean and restore headlights, taillights, windows, and mirrors to ensure clarity and functionality.
Interior Detailing:
- Vacuum, shampoo, and deep clean carpets, seats, and upholstery.
- Clean and condition leather and vinyl surfaces.
- Wipe down and polish the dashboard, console, door panels, and other interior elements.
- Clean windows and mirrors inside the vehicle.
Engine Bay Cleaning:
- Clean and degrease the engine bay, being cautious with delicate components.
Application of Protective Coatings:
- Apply protective coatings such as sealants or ceramic coatings to exterior surfaces to enhance durability and appearance.
- Maintain and reapply protective coatings as necessary
- Inspect vehicles for any visible defects or damage that may need further attention.
- Use appropriate tools and techniques to maintain quality control and avoid damaging the vehicle.
Customer Service:
- Communicate with customers to understand their detailing needs and preferences.
- Provide recommendations for vehicle care and maintenance.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering a high-quality final product.
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with car detailing and polishing techniques.
- Knowledge of various cleaning products, tools, and equipment used in detailing.
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to handle both manual and machine-based tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina and ability to work long hours.
- Strong customer service skills.
Desired Skills:
Experience with paint correction, ceramic coatings, or other advanced detailing services.
