Create detailed architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and layouts using CAD software..

Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements as directed by architects or engineers.

Project Documentation:

Prepare detailed construction drawings and specifications for building projects.
Maintain accurate records of all design documents and revisions.

Collaboration:

Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure designs are feasible and compliant with building codes and regulations.
Communicate effectively with the design team and contractors to clarify details and resolve discrepancies.

Code Compliance and Standards:

Ensure that all drawings and designs comply with applicable building codes, zoning laws, and standards.
Assist in conducting site visits to verify accuracy and adherence to design plans.

Review and Quality Control:

Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and constructability.
Assist in checking designs for compliance with safety and structural regulations.

Technical Support:

Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams during the building phase.
Ensure that any design-related questions or issues during construction are addressed promptly.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

Diploma or degree in architectural drafting, civil engineering, or a related field..

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
Understanding of building materials, construction methods, and structural principles.
Knowledge of local building codes, zoning laws, and regulations.

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail and precision in drafting.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
