Responsibilities

Analyze and ensure compliance with Pakistans Sales Tax Act and all federal and provincial tax regulations.
Prepare and review accurate sales tax calculations to ensure proper remittance to the relevant authorities.
Compile and maintain thorough documentation to support all tax filings and requests for information.
Assist in the submission of sales tax returns, ensuring timely compliance with deadlines set by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
Monitor changes in tax legislation and evaluate the impact on the organization to ensure ongoing compliance.
Support internal teams by providing expert advice and assistance on sales tax matters and queries.
Conduct regular audits of sales tax documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with current laws.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with tax authorities to aid in the resolution of any issues or inquiries.
Provide training and support to related departments on sales tax processes and requirements.
Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to integrate tax considerations into operational processes.
