Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and VMware Tanzu using Terraform, as well as automating CI/CD pipelines using Ansible. This position requires a strong background in cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, and a deep understanding of DevOps principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and VMware Tanzu using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
Automate the creation, management, and scaling of cloud environments based on application requirements.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Ansible to streamline the deployment and management of applications and infrastructure.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of application code, infrastructure, and deployment processes.
Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments to maintain optimal performance, reliability, and security.
Continuously improve and document cloud infrastructure, automation tools, and best practices to enable knowledge sharing and collaboration across the team.
Participate in on-call rotation to provide support for critical incidents and issues.
Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the DevOps function.
Mentor and guide junior team members in cloud and DevOps best practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with a focus on AWS, Azure, and VMware Tanzu.
Strong expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
Proven experience in automating CI/CD pipelines using Ansible or similar tools.
Deep understanding of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud-native application development.
Strong knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
Solid understanding of networking and security concepts in the cloud.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Desirable:

Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or VMware Certified Professional.
Experience with other automation and orchestration tools, such as Puppet, Chef, or Jenkins.
