Data Analyst

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in extracting actionable insights from data to inform strategic decision-making across the organization. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Management:

Gather and organize data from various sources, including internal databases, third-party sources, and external APIs.
Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous data cleansing and validation processes.

Data Analysis and Interpretation:

Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that drive business outcomes.
Perform statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to uncover actionable insights.

Market and Competitor Analysis:

Conduct comprehensive market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends, pricing strategies, and market opportunities.
Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.

Sales Performance Analysis:

Analyse sales data to assess product performance, customer behavior, and sales channel effectiveness.
Track key sales KPIs, such as conversion rates, average order value, and customer acquisition costs.

Customer Segmentation and Behaviour Analysis:

Segment customers based on demographics, purchasing behavior, and preferences to tailor marketing strategies and campaigns.
Analyse customer journey data to identify opportunities for personalization and optimization.

Inventory Management and Optimization:

Optimize inventory levels by analysing demand forecasts, stock turnover rates, and lead times.
Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory items and recommend strategies to minimize inventory holding costs.

Predictive Modeling and Forecasting:

Develop predictive models to forecast future sales trends, demand patterns, and inventory requirements.
Utilize advanced forecasting techniques, such as regression analysis and time series modeling, to predict future outcomes.

Operational Efficiency and Cost Optimization:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization through data analysis.

Analyse operational metrics, such as order fulfilment cycle time, inventory turnover, and supply chain efficiency.

Data Visualization and Reporting:

Create visually engaging dashboards and reports to communicate key findings and insights to stakeholders.
Generate regular reports and presentations for executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data analytics and business intelligence.
Drive innovation through the exploration of new data sources, analytical techniques, and tools.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, or business analytics.
Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, such as SQL, Python, R, or Excel.
Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
Familiarity with SAP B1 ERP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
