Manager imports and logistics-Supply Chain
Responsibilities
• Managing and supervising the Imports operation,customs clearance ,warehousing and logistics and process of 5,000 Containers from all over the world up to factory and distribution arrangment in all coutry warehouses.
To arrange freight forwarding and selection of best LSP .
• To correspond with concerned government authorities including EDB, FBR, Customs and others to get required decisions and availing maximum benefit.
• To arrange customs clearance by correct classification and by availing relevant SRO\'s and DTRE benefit where applicable according to customs Act and rules to avoid any mis declaration and contravention.
• To Monitor Bonded Ware House Customs clearance activity and arrange renewal of license and Audit Formalities.
• To handle litigation matters relevant to customs clearance
• To Liaison with foreign supplier for required Import documents and Certificates for Customs Clearance .
• To monitor reporting system to immediately retrieve and present any information on the goods imported and customs cleare.
.To make cost effective contract with LSPs and forwarder arrangement according to delivery term.
• To Monitor Letter of Credit opening and retirement process with bank .
• To Check and arrange all the documents needed for customs clearance, Imports and supervise clearance till dispatch of shipment to company warehouse.
• To verify and monitor submission of clearance and forwarding bills to finance according to agreement.
