In my capacity as a Senior MHPSS Officer, my primary responsibility is to offer technical guidance to field teams, ensuring the seamless execution of MHPSS interventions and prioritizing the welfare of beneficiaries. I am directly involved in conducting training sessions for diverse stakeholders, focusing on crucial topics such as Psychological First Aid (PFA), Problem Management Plus (PM+), and other pertinent interventions. Moreover, I oversee the monitoring of field activities to evaluate the efficacy and influence of MHPSS services.


Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

Provide guidance and technical expertise to field teams on the implementation of MHPSS interventions.

Collaborate with program managers to develop and adapt MHPSS strategies based on best practices and emerging needs.
Conduct assessments to identify gaps in MHPSS services and recommend appropriate interventions.

Training and Capacity Building:
Design and facilitate training sessions on Psychological First Aid (PFA), Problem Management Plus (PM+), and other relevant topics for staff and partners.

Develop training materials and resources to support capacity building efforts.
Provide ongoing mentoring and support to field staff to enhance their MHPSS skills and competencies.
Monitoring and Evaluation:

Develop monitoring tools and indicators to assess the quality, reach, and impact of MHPSS interventions.

Conduct regular field visits to monitor the implementation of MHPSS activities and provide technical assistance as needed.
Analyze data and prepare reports to document progress, challenges, and lessons learned.

Coordination and Collaboration:

Coordinate closely with other departments and external partners to ensure a holistic approach to MHPSS programming.
Participate in coordination meetings, workshops, and working groups related to mental health and psychosocial support.

Represent the organization in relevant forums and networks to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Managed the day-to-day field operations ECHO funded project across various districts in KPK, ensuring efficient and effective implementation in accordance with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
