MEP Engineer
As an MEP engineer at IES, I lead a team of electrical department. The core business of our company is preparing material take off estimations for our esteemed clients based in USA.
Graduate Trainee Engineer E & I
• Ensured strict compliance with HSE rules and PSM principles, as well as adhered with the permit to work system and achieved the target of zero LTI for the year 2018.
• Designed and implemented preventive maintenance regime for plant equipment ensuring maximum availability; also performed maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical equipment (motors, switchgear, transformers etc.).
• Controlled annual budget of electrical department; led inventory of electrical equipment spares and tools using Oracle ERP; assisted Supply Chain Function in and shortlisting contractors and purchasing new items for the department.
• Possessed knowledge of operations and processes of thermal power plant; as well as of the power purchasing agreement and tariff breakdown into energy and capacity payment.
• Led electrical team in stability testing of restricted earth fault protection of 75 MVA oil cooled transformer; devised annual shutdown of 132kV transmission lines and substation.
• Expertly performed testing of all MCC circuits to find any irregularities and modified circuit diagrams accordingly.
