Reon Energy Limited is a subsidiary of Dawood Hercules Group driven to create an affordable and sustainable energy future for commercial & industrial entities in the region. I am stationed at Head Office in Karachi wherein I was responsible for following tasks:
 
·        Ensure compliance of Reon’s policies and procedures pertaining to Contracts Management
·        Analyzing requirements and provisions in contracts, including terms and conditions, to ensure compliance laws and regulations and company policies and procedures.
·        Review and formulation of Clients and Suppliers Contracts
·        Review and preparation of Claims / Variations letters and supporting data
·        Drafting Contractual correspondence
·        Coordination with Project Team and other departments to gather required information enabling to finalize the Contracts, Claims and Variations
·        Providing support to project teams on Contractual matters
·        Maintaining Contracts and Claims registers
·        Record keeping both in hard and soft forms at a centralize place
·        Performing other tasks as and when assigned by Head of Contracts

National Logistics Cell, Engineers is a government entity controlled by the Ministry of Planning Development and Special Initiatives. NLC Engineers undertake development projects at national and international levels to help the government achieve its sustainable development goals. I was deputed at NLC Engineers, HQ Project Directorate, Sindh as Assistant Manager where I was responsible for the following tasks:
 
·        Post-award Contracts Administration including but not limited to contractual correspondence, preparation of payment applications, close-out of the project
·        Subcontracting - Negotiations, Contracts Drafting, Execution, and Administration
·        Claim (Time and Cost) preparations, submission and onwards approval by the Engineer or any other competent forums..
·        Contractual Correspondence with Clients and Consultants
·        Facilitating ADR for resolution of outstanding disputes with clients, Liasion with Arbitrators
·        Preparation of Variations / Change Order for approval by the Clients.

Infrastructure Development Authority of Punjab (IDAP) is an government autonomous body established for planning, designing, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure in the Punjab province, in line with the best international practices, to cope with the futuristic development needs. I was part of the Project Management Team and performed the following duties as Contract Administrator.
 
Contracts management including but not limited to:
·        Ensuring that all requirements of the Contracts are implemented and maintained throughout the contract period.
·        Preparing correspondence and maintaining records thereof for effective administration.
·        Facilitating the Contract changes and variations.
·        Reviewing the contractors\' claims in accordance with provisions of the contract.
·        Ensuring that all warranties, bonds, insurances, guarantees, etc. are in place and maintained.
·        Preparing recommendations for release of Retention and Guarantees.
·        Facilitating contract close-out in accordance with conditions of the contract.
·        Interacting with Consultants and Contractors for contractual matters.
·        Actively liaison with the Project Director for the matter related to cost, variations, and any other matter having contractual importance.
·        Maintaining funds utilization sheets and coordination with clients for timely disbursement of the funds
·        Reviewing Contractor and Consultant payments before sanctioning for release.
·        Evaluating Contractor’s Extension of Time claims and coordinating with Planning wing thereof. 
·        Assessing Consultant’s Extension of Time Claims and issuing additional services orders.
·        Involved in standardization of organization’s contract management & administration procedures.
·        Maintaining contemporary project records for contractual purposes.
·        Reviewing of conditions of the contract before tendering.

ZKB – Reliable JV was a Contractor that was awarded the contract for construction of the Orange Line Metro Train Project (Package – II). I was employed by JV partner, Reliable Engineering Services, to perform the following:
 
·        Managed the execution of work at Bund Road and Salahuddin Stations of OLMT.
·        Ensured that all the works are being executed as the approved programme.
·        Arranged and conducted inspections with consultant staff at the site.
·        Resolved drawing issues as per site requirements in consultation with a designer.
·        Resource management including manpower and machinery. Liaising with subcontractors.
·        Supervised activities of Girder Launching from Pier# 98 to Pier#140 in coordination with the girder casting yard.
Major Project:
1.      Construction of orange line metro train, Lahore 

China State Construction (CSCEC) is doing business in more than 100 countries and regions in the world, covering investment and development (real estate, construction financing, and operation), construction engineering (housing and infrastructure) as well as survey and design. I was employed by CSCEC at its Motorway Project in Pakistan. During my employment, I performed the following tasks:
·        Managed execution work of PKM RD 659+000 – 665+275 as per drawings and specifications.
·        Managed the machinery, manpower at the site, and borrow areas.
·        Managed petty contractors and their billing. 
·        Daily, weekly, and monthly work progress reports and quantity take-offs.
·        Planned and managed Inspection requests, dealing with In-house consultants and AER staff.

1.      Peshawar – Karachi motorway, Sukkur to Multan section, Bhawalpur

Habib Rafiq Private Limited is a leading construction company in Pakistan with having its own operational offices in UAE, KSA, Malaysia, and South Asia. I was part of its project management team as a graduate engineer and render my services for the contracts wing. My duties were:
·        Reviewing tender documents to understand the contractual and technical scope.
·        Assisting manager for effective coordination and contract administration.
·        Discussing, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
·        Any other duty as assigned by management.

I worked with the Design Team of Metro Bus Multan in collaboration with LDA/MBA.
