Currently I am working as a Senior Contracts Engineer on one of the mega refurbishment project of Pakistan i.e. Mangla Hydro Power Refurbishment Project. I have done BSc Electrical Engineering and MSc Engineering Management. I am a team member of the International Consultant team, responsible for executing the project, that includes professionals from MWH USA (Now Stantec USA), NESPAK, and ACE Pak. I am responsible for administering FIDIC Contract for works worth approx.. 52 billion Rs. I am qualified in performing the following duties:

Verification of Interim Payment Certificates/Application for Certificates of Payment, preparation of funding certificates for the donors of the Project (IDB and China EXIM Bank), preparation of Engineer’s Estimate for various Varied works, Rates negotiation with the Contractor, regularly involved in meetings with the Client (WAPDA) and the Contractor to sort out issues arising out of the Contract, drafting of Contractual letters for the Project Manager, Closed Coordination with the site engineers to check Compliance on the Contract, Preparation of Spread Sheets for keeping track record of all the previous payments to the Contractor and future payments schedule, providing regular inputs to Project Monthly Report on EMH Physical and Financial Progress, Preparation of Taking-Over and Defects Liability Certificate, efficiently dealing and coordinating with 4 Contractor's deployed on the job. I have also worked closely with WAPDA (Govt Organization) to help them answer various audit observations.

I have also served as Electrical Design Engineer from December 2010 to November 2015 and have successfully completed the Electrical design task of numerous projects under NESPAK in the earthquake affected areas of KPK AJK. The projects encompassed the design of Electrical works (that is design of single line diagram, lighting, small power sockets, power cables, CCTV, earthing, lightening protection systems, telephone, Fire alarm and detection system (FAS), IT (Data communication) preparation of drawings on Auto Cad, Bill of Quantities and Engineer's estimate etc), vetting review of outsourced projects, monitoring and quality assurance.
