I am working as a Senior Consultant in Sidat Hyder Morshed Associates Pvt Ltd in ERP implementation department. I have implemented ERP (Supply Chain, Financial and Payroll) at various clients of different industries. Previously I served 5 years in accounts department in different industries now I am capable of managing the Accounts, Finance, supply chain and Human Resource department’s daily activities including accounts payable, accounts receivables, payroll, general journal entries and financial reporting.


I am able to reduce manual working, implement ERP and the Automated Reporting Systems & Tools to Boost Business.

Responsible for overall implementation of ERP (Supply Chain, Financial and Payroll). Conducting training sessions and developing best practices for product delivery. Analysed user requirements, performed impact analysis and generated system requirements documents and data migration activity. During my service period I have implemented ERP on the following clients and now they are using ERP in live environment. 
ERP Implementation At Education Department Baluchistan
Before leaving for Quetta, I was informed only three days ago that I had to go to Quetta for implementation so I was so upset and afraid of this task because I had to implement General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Payroll (HCM) in one week (6 days). Even I did not discuss key setups like Chart of Accounts, Cost Centre and Employee structure, etc.
During those 6 days, I finalized the chart of account, cost center, employee structure, All setup was incorporated with ERP and complete training was done, in this way by the grace of Allah I implemented General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Payroll (HCM) on time and they started live entries before my departure and they gave me a cheque of the remaining amount also.
ERP Implementation at Dawood University of Engineering
As we know how capable the government’s employees are, I was even more surprised when I found out that the Accountant doesn’t even know about the double GL entries and the data of the payroll are not match with their policies, even though the few employees’ personal information were missing also.
So for the sake of completion of payroll implementation, I entered fixed entries in HCM and gradually I converted the fixed data into auto-setup as per policies. I used to reconcile the HCM’s payroll with their excel payroll. After 2 to 3 months they left their excel sheet and started to use only HCM payroll.
As they were not familiar with ERP’s set up so I generated all setup like a chart of account, Cost Centre, Supplier and tax section, etc. and shared with for approval. I also taught GL double entries.
Despite all the difficulties that I completed GL and HCM Implementation.
ERP Implementation at UTI Industries
This implementation was also a problem in UTI because the upper management was very senior in terms of age and they were unfamiliar with ERP’s setups, chart of accounts, and Cost Centre. They used to record all GL transactions manually and after finalization of accounts, they recorded their transaction on software.
But in this project I was not leading this project, I was assisting my manager. We conducted many sessions about ERP setup but we did not get positive feedback. So I asked my manager to allow me to help them to finalize the chart of accounts and Cost Centre, In this way, we could complete the implementation quickly but unfortunately, the Manager forbade it and he said that it is not our responsibility.
Despite my manager's prohibition, I made a chart of accounts and shared them for approval, so due to this trick, I completed the implementation on time.
You may analyze with only one point that how much this implementation was difficult that the implementation project of SCM and GL both started at the same time but SCM’s implementation had never been finished.
ERP Implementation At Zubaida Medical Centre
This is my first project where I was in my comfort zone because I had already implemented the GL. Although CFO and Accountant were also nice people. So I assisted them to finalize the setup. So this project was completed so quickly and easily.
ERP Implementation At Fazal Holding
As the company was located on Lahore so I done all task (Creation of setup, Training Session and incorporation of setup) through the remote session.
ERP Implementation At Child Life Foundation
Being a part of SCM's team was my first implementation. We did not face any major problem during theimplementation of SCM (Local Purchase and Inventory) because the staffs were so cooperative but oncethe works (integration with HIMS) were started, the reconciliation was a big and complicated task. But I made it simply with my excel expertise and I played a major role in the reconciliation of child life’s data.
ERP Implementation At Plastech Autosafe
This was one of the major projects in my whole career because we had the task to implement the complete SCM Modules (Local Purchase, Foreign Purchase, Local Sales, Inventory, Production, and Planning). Fortunately, they were familiars with ERP they were using ERP (Supernova) and wanted to add the feature as per their requirement so they decided to select SHERP.
We started this project with a different process, first, we conducted the session for getting their requirement and identifying the gaps and then we generated documents (As-Is & To Be). Finally, we started the training session but that was not easy because they wanted to add a feature as per their requirement. So we made major customization for them like Documents print format, reports, and processes. The cost of customization was almost equivalent to the whole SCM project cost.
Finally, we have complete the SCM project and they are using it in a live environment now.
Import Module’s Implementation in Al Ameen Services
Al Ameen services is the one of the oldest client of Sidath Hyder, they are using SHERP without import module. They used to control all import transactions by manual working.
It was very difficult for me to implement the Import-Module because number to transaction were so high. You estimate that there are about 800 to 900 items in a purchase contract as the import module formulates a formula for calculating the import duties of an item and it is a difficult process to define a formula for so many items one by one. Defining the formula of an item the only way is the front screen. SHERP is not allowed to import it. If I design a formula like this, an implementation would never be complete. Using my SQL queries expertise, I configured formulas on each item. That’s how I completed the implementation on time.
