I am writing to express my interest in the Medical officer post at Nai Zindagi Organisation . I am Dr. Hameer Ali, an MBBS graduate from Chandka Medical College, Larkana, class of 2022. My medical journey has given me diverse experiences, from completing a one-year house job to working in peripheral areas as a medical officer and with international organizations like ACF - Pakistan Mission. These roles have allowed me to develop a well-rounded skill set and a commitment to patient care, especially in resource-limited environments.
During my house job, I was responsible for patient assessment, monitoring vitals, reviewing laboratory results, and assisting physicians in diagnosis. This role provided me with a strong foundation in clinical care and the practical skills needed for efficient patient management. Subsequently, as a medical officer in a peripheral setting, I managed an independent outpatient department, diagnosing and treating patients with limited resources. This experience honed my decision-making skills and reinforced my commitment to delivering quality care.
My experience with ACF - Pakistan Mission as a medical officer and line manager expanded my exposure to public health, particularly in treating acute conditions, screening for hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and HIV, and managing malnutrition cases. I oversaw nutrition teams for the distribution of RUTF (Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food) to underweight children and those with failure-to-thrive, an experience that underscored the importance of preventive and therapeutic care in vulnerable populations.
I am drawn to Nai Zindagi Organisation for its dedication to patient-centered care and commitment to serving diverse populations. I am confident that my background in both clinical and public health settings, along with my passion for community health, will make me a valuable addition to your team.
Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss how my background and skills align with your team’s goals.
Sincerely,
Dr. Hameer Ali
