Syed Murtuza Ahmed is a dedicated professional with a background in Environmental Studies from the University of Karachi, graduating in 2020. Currently, I am pursuing my Master's in Energy and Environment at Hamdard University.
In my current role at Rajby Industries, one of Pakistan's top 50 exporters, I serve as a Sustainability and EHS Officer. My expertise lies in spearheading environmental and sustainability projects, with a focus on GHG emission reduction targets, monitoring, and implementing science-based initiatives.
I am well-versed in sustainable development goals, global reporting initiatives, and proficient in platforms such as Worldly, ZDHC, Clean Chain, and BHive.

EHS OFFICER
Application of Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2015) in the facility.
Conducting internal audits of different sites as per plan, ensure conformities of Standard Operating Procedures, bring progress through SMART objectives.
Preparing and maintaining documentation of Utilities & Green House Gas inventory, solid waste, water balancing, Initial Environmental Examination & Environmental Management Plan, Effluent Treatment Plant, policies & procedures, chemical management etc.
Conducting self-assessments on Higg Facility Environment Module, H&M Performance Data.
Working on Carbon Footprint, Science Based Targets initiatives, Net Zero, United Nations Global Compact and Sustainable Development Goals
Keeping track of Environmental performance of the facility in accordance with Environmental Strategy for continual improvement
Ensure implementation of Legal Obligations & Customer’s Code of Conduct.
