Field Engineer
Design Compliance: Ensure designs and drawings align with specifications and standards. Market Survey: Conduct thorough surveys to assess material availability and costs.
Feasibility Assessment: Evaluate site suitability, material quality, and cost-effectiveness before implementation. Quality Assurance: Regularly sample and test materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
Reporting and Resolution: Promptly report issues and recommend solutions to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
Field Engineer
· Planning and Estimations - BOQ’s, DIP/Layout Plan, Cash Flow, Technical drawings, side management, implementation, electric and mechanical work, monitoring etc.
· Quality Control, Site Inspection & Site Management.
· Tracking and Monitoring the Plans, Drawings & Quantities for Accuracy of calculations.
· Assurance the quality of material, use of material and overall work progress.
· Responsible in Evaluating and Assessing Progress Reports to Project Manager and Consultants regarding the Progress of Construction Activities Upon Baseline.
Field Engineer
· Planning and designing for infrastructure including the protection walls, dykes, retaining walls, foundations, latrines construction, shelter designing and construction.
· Development of progress reports in light of BOQs i.e. construction drawings & specifications as well as business process /DIP.
· Carry out the technical feasibility / assessment (site identification, material, labor, transportation, supplies etc) of disaster risk reduction and infrastructure related activities
· Been proactively engaged in preparation of drawings, BoQs & cost estimates of infrastructure schemes in line with the quality standards.
· Conducting the market survey for proposed materials availability, unit rates of material/labours
and provide realistic estimates of the proposed activities as per work plan
· Assessing the supplier selection process by evaluating the samples against specifications given in approved BOQs/estimates at field level as & when needed.
· Ensure the layouts, levels and all activities at site both pre & post construction to know whether construction work is being done according to drawings and specifications or not.
· Monitor and provide support for developing understanding of skilled labours, community activists or beneficiary household regarding design, inclusiveness, DRR and protection measures.
· Timely report to supervisor regarding any issue relevant to design at earliest stage of the project with recommendations
Structural engineer
· I Worked with Zac Engineer & Consultancy for almost on cost estimation of project, Design of multi-storey buildings and structure drawing detailing, Architecture drawing and detailing under Dr. Zeeshan Allam. I have full command on drafting and also calculate quantity of materials by using excel. I can also use Rivet for architectural drawing. Completed accurate engineering calculations for weights, loads and other metrics using both manual and digital method.
· Design of reinforced concrete structures [Residential Buildings] and sub-structural design [Foundation].Researched zoning laws and building codes to verify conformance with regulatory agencies. Drafted structural plans using computer aided design software.
· Travelled to construction sites to collaborate with construction personnel and to confirm compliance with design parameters and regulations.
Field engineer
· Preparation of weekly/monthly work plans by ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks in the stipulated time period.
· Coordination with potential stakeholders and especially community activists, COs, VOs, and beneficiary households for smooth implementation of the project
· Development of a contingency plan to deal with external factors affecting or may affect the field activities
· Supervising and managing the skilled and unskilled labor for construction execution
