Key Responsibilities












Participant Engagement: The Field Facilitator engages with project participants, often individuals with neurological conditions or disabilities, to explain the BCI technology, its potential benefits, and the process of using it. They establish a supportive and comfortable environment to encourage participant involvement.


Training and Support: They provide hands-on training to participants on how to use the BCI devices, interpret feedback, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the training or actual usage phases. They ensure participants have a clear understanding of the technology's capabilities and limitations.


Data Collection and Analysis: The Field Facilitator gathers data generated by the BCI devices during participant interactions. They assist in analyzing this data to monitor the effectiveness of the technology, identify trends, and provide insights for further improvement.


Customization: Understanding the unique needs and preferences of each participant, the Facilitator assists in customizing the BCI settings and configurations to optimize user experience and achieve desired outcomes.


Collaboration: They work closely with technical teams, neuroscientists, engineers, and medical professionals involved in the project to relay participant feedback, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to the ongoing development of the BCI technology.


Ethical Considerations: The Field Facilitator ensures that participants' privacy, dignity, and consent are respected at all times. They are well-versed in ethical guidelines surrounding human experimentation and data collection, ensuring the project adheres to the highest standards.


Documentation: Accurate and detailed documentation of participant interactions, progress, challenges, and feedback is essential. The Facilitator maintains records to track the participant's journey and the project's impact.


Continuous Learning: Staying updated with advancements in BCI technology, neuroscience, and related fields is crucial. The Facilitator may engage in professional development activities to enhance their knowledge and skills.


Communication: The Field Facilitator acts as a bridge of communication between participants and the project's stakeholders. They convey valuable insights, challenges, and success stories to the broader team, aiding in the iterative development of the BCI technology.
