• Responsible for one MSC, Two Data Centers and 6 MGW’s locations.

• Daily interaction with Client mangers and provide them feedback and possible solution of every issue related to equipment installed at core locations.

Core responsibilities included:
• Responsible for Network operations & maintenance of 1500+ sites of Central 1 of PTML Network, under managed services contract with Huawei.
• Ensuring smooth running of the access network through leading and mentoring a team of 100 plus staff consisting of engineers, technicians, accountants and project coordinators.
• Developing and implementing engineering solutions to ensure network quality, performance, low operational cost and reliability.
• Managing all refueling affairs of C-I, day to reporting, managing minimum carry forward.
• Monitoring network performance indicators (TCH Availability, Downtime & Outages) and taking corrective measures as necessary.
• Daily/Weekly/monthly collection and formulation of various network performance indicators like Down Time, Repetitive Alarms, Routine Checks, Spares availability and high fault rate analysis of parts etc.
• Scheduling of monthly preventive maintenance (PM) and its execution as per schedule.
• Managing all the quality audits at the sites relating to Telecom, Power, Civil and electrical works and responsible for resolution of quality issues.
• Weekly reporting and organizing meetings for Regional performance and KPI’s control.
• Responsible for overhauling of Diesel generators [20-31KVA], starting from budgeting, vendor selection, development of in house teams & workshops, supply chain management of required spares and coordination with client for HO/TO & warranty period claims.
• Complete fuel management of all entities in network and ensure effective authentication and verification of Subcon’s and in-house team’s refueling reports and highlight pilferages or excess fuel usage.
• Handling of site commercial power, fault rectification through subcontractors and In-house teams.
• Project budgeting, cost control & resource optimization.
• Verifications of PR/POs and invoices of different suppliers working on refueling, commercial power, overhauling, services

Managed turnkey project of Operations and Maintenance of the Cellular Network comprising of more than 1150 cell sites, covering scope of Power maintenance, DG refueling, commercial power, and maintenance of Telecom equipment, BSS, TXN Nodes and BSC’s locations in C-1 region of Pakistan Mobile Communications, Limited (PMCL).

Core responsibilities included:
• Supervise the PM/CM of plus 1150 sites of Centre-1 (Microwave + BTS + Genset + Electrical Equipment+ Refueling) with the help of 9 field engineers and 100 technicians.
• Managing the field engineering operations so that the overall agreed network KPIs are achieved.
• Responsible for monitoring BTS/TXN (Microwaves, Traffic Nodes) Network performance on daily, weekly and monthly basis and generating reports to management accordingly.
• Developing & implementing continuous improvement projects to improve performance of machinery e.g. Power supplies, rectifiers, UPS(S), Generators, ATS Panels, Main distribution boards and Battery banks.
• Responsible for monitoring the terminal of Motorola having software sun blade (X-Manager) and Huawei terminal (I-Manager version M 2000) to monitor the alarms of BTS Cell sites, Hub & BSC’s.
• Supervise/support to in-house site auditors to install various types of electrical equipment generators, rectifiers, UPS and transformers as well as maintenance activity.
• Keep strong follow up with field teams for EAS Alarms and Site Path Verification.
• Handle issues like WIMAX down Site, BSS Trouble Tickets open on NOC Web Portal.
• To trace and fixed all the RSL related issues of NEC Paso link, ALCATEL, Hauwei RTN and NEC Paso link Neo IDU Fault & ODU Fault, fault in Tributaries, Faulty Controller card etc within the limited time to reduce the outage.
• Hand on experience for maintenance and trouble shooting of Generators below 100 KVA includes Olympians, Power Tech, and NEQ Generators.
• Participation in Major Maintenance Activities for different types of Generators.

• Technical operation & maintenance of BSS, Transmission, Environment & Generator.
• PM/CM of both Telco and Non Telco equipment.
• Working on Huawei equipments (BTS).
• Troubleshooting and Maintenance of all types of Microwave Links (NEC, Alcatel, RTN) used by PMCL.
• Have working experience of Rectifiers (Delta, Eltek, Emerson, Power safe)
• Technical operation & maintenance and overhauling of Generator.
• Complete BTS trouble shooting knowledge of Motorola (HM-1, HM-II).
• Complete troubleshooting of Huawei BTS (3900, 3900A).
• Complete understanding of all cards and equipment installed in Huawei 3900.
• Comprehension of functionality of Timers, Relays, magnetic Contactors, breakers and other electrical parts ( in ATS and Distribution Panel ) to make safe and continuous operation of equipment.
• Alarm Patching of Huawei and Motorola BTS Cabinet.
• To keep the sites free of all alarms like Low Voltage, Major, Minor, Fire, Temperature alarms.
• Worked on following Types of Rectifiers Delta (1200 W and 2000 W), Acson (3000 W), Elteck (1500 W) Saft Power System (3000 W), Emerson (3000 W).
• Maintenance of Air conditioners to making sure that environment is free of temperature alarm.
• Also has some knowledge of VSWR testing.
• Supervise the Warehouse material of remote office and forecast the availability of Strategic spares to ensure their availability.
• Responsible of managing all vehicles of remote offices for their smooth movement and operations.
• All documentation and RSL analysis was also part of my job.
• Make cost effective strategies to minimize the monthly expenditures on projects.
