My diversified and in-depth professional work experience of assurance engagements, financial reporting, corporate taxation, corporate tax opinion and planning, tax audit & compliance at UHY Hassan Naeem & Co., Chartered Accountants (a member firm of UHY International), coupled with a record of excellent performance at professional level has enabled me to present myself as a potential candidate for a suitable position.
I am completing mandatory training period of 3.5 years under Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) bye-laws. During my tenure, I have had the opportunity of working in corporate tax advisory, external audit and business advisory department covering a wide range of industries including Sugar, Chemical, Textile, Electronics, Public and Not-for-Profit Organizations among others. This exposure to a wide spectrum of clients with a variety of work experience has provided me with an in-depth view of the key business processes, risk management procedures, accounting, taxation, internal control systems and corporate governance. Moreover, it has enriched me professionally and equipped with the qualities needed to deal with a variety of situations in an innovative, effective, timely and efficient manner.

Supervisor Taxation
• Preparation and review filling of Income Tax Return, Sales Tax Returns, Withholding Statements of all tax forms. Ensuring accurate, timely filing of federal and provincial taxes.
• Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures.
• Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.
• Manage and facilitate IRIS income tax, Sales Tax audits and other aspects of tax compliances.
• Presentation before Commissioner appeals and Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these developments to client’s management and the tax team
and create strategies to capitalize on changes to taxation legislation.
• Provide support with various internal audits and special tax related projects.
• Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections.
• Manage and mentor members of tax team to greater levels of effectiveness and engagement.
