Working at 1570 MTon/Day Ammonia Plant (Bechtel Corporation) as Production Engineer.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES》Monitoring and control of all operational Parameters》Plan and requisition supplies and materials in advance to prevent interruption of work》Implementation of Safety rules and regulations as per PSM DuPont, PTW and IMS procedures》Optimization of raw materials, chemicals and energy consumption of plant》Prepare Daily Production, Energy index & Losses reports for management.》Prepare monthly report on Ammonia plant KPI, Energy Index, Oil & Chemicals handling》All catalyst performance evaluations》Implementation of Safety rules and regulations in correspondence to PSM, PTW and IMS policies》Executing corrective actions in correspondence to Non conformances in boilers chemistry, Benfield and gas Analysis》Plant utilities consumption optimization and balancing》Conduct energy conservation studies / practices to improve plant economics.》JSA data compilation and discussion with other agencies involved.》Analysis of Interlocks configured in PLC, ESDS and Loop Diagrams involved in plant operation》Participation in Skill Development Programs.》Plant Operation, Startup & Shutdown activities which includes;a. Reforming section: NG Booster Compressor, Air Blowers and Compressors driven by steam turbines. Primary and Secondary reformers, Shift convertors. HP boiler and LP boiler.b. Learning and appraising about the Production of Ammonia, Plant Operations, Reforming, Steam Generation, Heat Recovery, Shift converters, Absorber & Stripper, Converters with Intercoolers, Steam Turbines, Heat Exchangers, Catalyst handling and unloading during shut-down, Ultra Sonic Tube Testing (UT) , CF Pumps & Compressors, Control Valves and PTW System.
