ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage Data Center primary and disaster recovery site server Infrastructure in 24x7 production environment.


• Manage the physical and virtual (VMware, vCenter) environment in Data Center.


• Manage servers with Windows and Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu etc.) operating systems.


• Manage network firewalls (Network Policies, NAT Policies, VPN, Application Control).


• Manage NAS and SAN storages and perform routine backups.


• Ensure Security of the Data Center infrastructure by implementing industry best security practices. 

• Installation and configuration of all IT equipment and software.


• Manage Test and update Video conferencing equipment regularly.


• Troubleshooting and coordinate any IT equipment or software maintenance


• activities for employees as needed.


• Troubleshoot, diagnose problems, implement corrective action procedures


• within prescribed guidelines/ SOPs and/or escalates to other technical


• resources as appropriate.


• Ensure smooth bandwidth flow across the EOC, manage and report to IT


• Manager as per SOP.


• Support program staff of the EOC with day to day IT support.


• Regular monitoring of all hardware, software, and systems to ensure they


• remain updated.


• 
  
• Repairing and replacing any IT equipment/ software.


• Propose innovative and subsequently coordinate the management of IT


• security for users (i.e. anti-virus software, firewalls etc.).


• Implement and monitor policy for firewall to ensure security and efficient use of


• network.


• Ensure all IT equipment running to its standard technical specifications.


• Test programs as and when require.


• Support the development of effective, cost efficient and a workable framework


• across the office with the objective of improving the overall IT infrastructure.


• Prepare budget for maintenance of IT equipment in consultation with AFO.


• Coordinate with external vendors to ensure services are provided as per


• agreed SLAs and TATs (i.e. internet provider, telephone, cellular, video


• conferencing, email service provider).


• Review reports at the end of SLA activity and suggest resolution technically.


• Assist AFO in procurement process for technical feedback.


• Perform any other duties, relevant to project, as required.
