I am working as health and safety officer in a project named SINDH RESILIENCE PROJECT funded by World bank in collaboration with SINDH IRRIGATION DEPARTMENT Govt of Sindh.

Installation of equipments, testing, inspection of electrical products. Field visits to the private industry who import/export or produce electrical items like LED’s LEAD ACID BATTERIES, CABLES, MOTORS ETC.

Adopt environment friendly processes and safe working practices  Ensuring the implementation of Safety Laws  Participating of incentive scheme offered for field staff to increase safe working environment and to decrease occupational accidents  Preparing and maintaining records up-to date for audits  Visual inspection of running motors  Logging motor vibration from 4 kW to 2000KW ( LV and MV ) motors  Motor sound observation and reporting to Plant manager, Abnormality report if any abnormality found in the motors  To maintain preventive schedule, coordination with respective area in charge to send scheduled motors to workshop for overhauling  Maintenance of the record of overhauled motors their lubrication and bearing  Inspection maintenance of 26 KVA transformers, regular inspection of all gauges, the liquid level must remain normal, considering the temperature effect. Check of prolonged period of zero pressure which could indicate a gas leak, temperature maintenance not higher than the rated temperature on name plate plus ambient temperature.
