One of the most crucial decisions in life is career choice. A perceptive decision made based on factors ranging from latent interests, inherent skills to scope and satisfaction.
My career choice emerged from careful analysis and plan. I always believed in the best and I am considering my innate possibilities, assimilated knowledge, and a positive
attitude. I am confident that I will succeed in my own efforts. Myself Hamna Saleem, I’m a graduate from Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan (Pakistan) with a major in Environmental Sciences. Afterward, I did my M.Phil. Environmental Sciences from Top ranked Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad Pakistan. During my bachelors and Masters studies, I have learned various disciplines
of Environmental Sciences such as climate change; water Resource management, Environmental pollution, and Environmental impact assessment, Biodiversity & conservation, and Bioremediation, etc. My M.phil project was based on “Carbon negative potential of biochar from solid waste in saline soils”.A constant urge to learn and explore, an ambition to become a strong researcher, a wish to be a part of growing scientific world and contribute to its development has led me to study “Environmental Sciences”. My fascination for environmental sciences has been longstanding & persistent. Now I would like to apply for prestigious organization with innovation. The rationale to apply for the concerned organization is that I belong to under-developed country (Pakistan) where there are fewer environmentalists due to which my country has poor infrastructure. Climate change & global warming is burning issue now a day over the world. Natural and anthropogenic pollution of air, water, and soil is extensive but resources to combat pollution are scarce. The combined effect of population growth, urbanization, poverty, agriculture, and industrialization has been
that the environmental problems in developing countries are growing & becoming more difficult to resolve. Water footprints are more which reduces the safe drinking water
supplies. The consequences would be environmental total destruction within several generations, lost soil & water-shed protection, local climate change, and habitat
destruction. Pollution is one of the many environmental challenges facing the world today.
