1. To Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with these blueprints2. Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly3. Responsible to perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications4. Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality5. Consider tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordingly6. In case of non-standardized tools, design in house and ensure on time availability for the production department7. Responsible for design and development of molds as per requirement and coordinate with vendors for intime completion of outsourced operations8. Ensure that All works execution in machine shop done against workorder9. Responsible for comprehensive inspection of all tools at machine shop to declare suitability for use by production department. 10. Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise11. Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpening12. Design, manufacture and implement machining tools (jigs and fixtures) for product specific manufacturing/assembly time reduction. 13. Responsible for record keeping of All documents/drawings in soft (One drive) or hard form

Machine parts from prints and models . Verify dimensions, alignments and clearances of tools, dies, fixtures and gauges using measuring instruments . Set-up and operate machining equipment such as lathes, EDM, milling machines, grinders, drill presses and saws . Fit and assemble parts to make, repair or modify required tooling, dies, jigs, gauges and tools using machine tools and hand tools . Ability to effectively troubleshoot on punch press tooling, progressive punch press dies and on punch presses . Smooth and polish flat and contoured surfaces of parts or tools . Validate completed tools or dies to ensure that parts meet specifications . Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives
