We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Officer to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day financial operations, maintain financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliation of accounts.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts for management.
- Handle payroll processing and ensure timely disbursements.
- Monitor budgets and expenses, and assist with budgeting and financial planning.
- Manage tax-related matters and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing financial data and reports.
- Oversee banking transactions and manage cash flow.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Officer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERP) and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
