Sales Strategist

You will be pivotal in driving our sales and onboarding big-ticket customers. Your role will involve engaging in communication with potential/current/churn customers by gaining insight into their profession and how better to help them gain access to more agricultural markets and verified information from them upon the basis of which they may make better trades.

Responsibilities will also include crafting bundle packages from customer buying patterns and keeping in line with commodity seasons of Pakistan. Background knowledge of agriculture in Pakistan is also a plus.

Sindhi/Punjabi is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Identify, contact, and engage with market representatives via WhatsApp.
Educate potential customers about Zarai Mandi’s platform and its benefits for their daily operations.
Close sales and achieve predetermined sales targets.
Converting short-term customers to long-term customers
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new market representatives.
Address customer inquiries and issues related to sales and financial transactions promptly via WhatsApp.
Gather customer feedback to improve our services and tailor offerings to their needs.
Manage customer accounts and ensure timely invoicing and collection of payments.
Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
Provide financial insights and support to the sales team to optimize pricing and payment terms.

Requirements:

Proven experience 2 years in sales and/or marketing roles, preferably in Agritech, B2B, or related sectors.
Strong understanding of financial principles and experience in managing customer accounts.
Familiarity with using WhatsApp for business communication and sales purposes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Urdu.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field.
