Job Overview 

Sales Operations is responsible for a smooth and cost-effective operation between the company, customers, and specific third parties. The key challenge of the role is to develop consistency and coherence in the day-to-day operation of the sales organization, thus enabling account, field teams to focus on core selling roles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Sales Operations including Customer Systems, Route to Market, and Sales Capability.
  • Will be required to deliver the New Business results, Engage the field team, Tackle the operational issues, drive sales KPIs, and deliver the Annual Target.
  • Monitor and track the ROI of all distributors with respect to the business and propose suggestions to leverage on distributors profitability.
  • Prepare and monitor operation expenses such as damage claims/short pack claims.
  • Prepare Annually & Monthly Sales Forecasting (Channels & Distributor Wise)
  • Monitor & maintain distributors' average stock in days as per the company policy
  • Share Rolling Forecast with Supply chain, for maintaining MSL at warehouses
  • Designed of analytical/statistical dynamic reports & dashboard to measure the business level for corrective action
  • Align and split monthly primary and secondary sales targets by region/category/customer.
  • Monitor on a daily basis target vs achievement sales reports at each level (Region, Zone, Business Channel) and share with top management & sales team.  KPI’s i.e (Sales, Coverage, Booking vs Execution, Schedule Productivity, Unique Productivity)
  • Prepare & process monthly Sales Incentives as per the defined model
  • Close coordination with Trade Marketing and Sales Operation related to monitoring all sales promotion activity.
  • Ensure timely incorporation of monthly Trade Offers, order bookers PJP & Target in the system as aligned with management
  • The job holder is to maintain flexibility. The job can require him/her to perform tasks that are not clearly defined in the job description but aligned with the need of the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or Marketing
  • 4 -5 years of experience in the FMCG Industry Proficient in all MS Office (Word, Excel & Powerpoint) and marketing software.
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • People Management
