Surveillance Officer

We are seeking a skilled and vigilant Surveillance Officer to join our team and monitor surveillance cameras and security systems to detect and report suspicious activities or security breaches. Maintain detailed logs, collaborate with the reporting manager, conduct routine inspections, and respond promptly to emergencies.

Responsibilities:

Monitor CCTV cameras continuously
Monitor live video feeds from security cameras and other surveillance systems.
Detect and report suspicious activities or security breaches.
Maintain detailed logs and reports of observations and findings
Ensure all surveillance activities comply with company policy and legal regulations.
Collaborate with the Management as needed.
Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies.
Plan and execute authorized entry/exit of vehicles and personnel.
Maintain CCTV recording media libraries and preserve potential evidence.
Maintain the security of property and premises through observation.

Requirements:

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in computer software, including video surveillance systems and record management tools.
Familiarity with data security best practices.
Knowledge of surveillance equipment and security protocols.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional observational skills are needed to perceive and interpret subtle details.

Note:

Candidate with National Certificate of Level 4 in Security Services (Security Officer) will be preferred
Preference will be given to individuals with experience in the repair and maintenance (R&M) of camera DVRs and related equipment.
