Freight Broker

We are looking for a confident and results-driven Freight Broker to join our logistics team. The role involves coordinating freight operations for clients and carriers in the USA and Canada. The ideal candidate must possess excellent English communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage with international clients. A minimum of three months of experience in any sales-related work is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, shippers, and carriers in the USA and Canada.
Negotiate freight rates and contracts to secure profitable and reliable shipments.
Coordinate and monitor freight movements, ensuring timely deliveries and addressing any issues effectively.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications using company systems.
Stay up-to-date with U.S. and Canadian freight regulations, market trends, and industry practices.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless shipment execution.

Requirements:

Education: Minimum intermediate education (high school diploma or equivalent required; further education is a plus).
Experience: At least three months of experience in any sales-related work is mandatory.

Skills:

Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills (English medium preferred).
Strong negotiation and interpersonal abilities with crystal-clear articulation.
Highly punctual and dependable with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and logistics software.

Other: Knowledge of U.S. and Canadian freight regulations is an advantage.
