Conduct site assessments to evaluate infrastructure needs for schools, learning centers, and community spaces.
- Develop detailed designs, layouts, and cost estimates for required construction, renovation, or maintenance work.
- Prepare technical specifications and ensure alignment with project objectives and guidelines.
- Oversee construction and renovation activities to ensure quality and adherence to technical standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and field staff to ensure timely execution of project activities.
- Ensure all infrastructure meets safety, accessibility, and environmental sustainability criteria.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and compliance with project plans and technical specifications.
- Identify and address any technical or operational challenges during implementation.
- Ensure proper documentation of all project activities and infrastructure-related expenditures.
- Work closely with project teams, school management committees, and local authorities to align infrastructure improvements with community needs.
- Provide technical guidance to stakeholders on the maintenance and sustainability of project-supported infrastructure.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports, including updates on construction status, budgets, and challenges.
- Maintain records of all technical designs, bills of quantities (BoQs), and other project-related documentation.
National Rural Support Programme (NRSP)
Established in 1991, NRSP is the largest Rural Support Programme in the country in terms of outreach, staff and development activities. It is a not for profit organization registered under Section 42 of Companies Ordinance 1984. NRSP's mandate is to alleviate poverty by harnessing people's potential and undertake development activities in Pakistan. It has a presence in 46 Districts in all the four Provinces including Azad Jammu and Kashmir through Regional Offices and Field Offices. NRSP is currently working with more than half a million poor households organized into a network of more than 57,179 Community Organizations. With sustained incremental growth, it is emerging as Pakistan's leading engine for poverty reduction and rural development.
