1. To manage and maintain the database of project related data at District level
2. To ensure the development of tools and procedures related to mapping and databases.
3. To support field teams in the collection and management of database, verification and update of the collected data.
4. Audit the accuracy of information being provided through the reporting; data collection, monitoring system and follow up of any discrepancies to ensure corrective action has been taken.
5. Ensure that the reports produced by the database are in compliance with the requirements of Project.
6. Ensure to enter the data on regular basis of all designated UCs.
7. Ensure the database has to be matched with the reported numbers by field teams.
8. S/he has to ensure that the data should be properly maintained in both hard and soft.
9. Error free data entry is the sole responsibility of the MIS assistant.
10. MIS officer has to maintain the logs of data and return it back to the relevant field teams after entry.
11. To provide support to programme teams in admin and logistic related matters.
12. To perform any other duties / assignment that may be assigned by the organization as and when required for the effective implementation of the project.

Established in 1991, NRSP is the largest Rural Support Programme in the country in terms of outreach, staff and development activities. It is a not for profit organization registered under Section 42 of Companies Ordinance 1984. NRSP's mandate is to alleviate poverty by harnessing people's potential and undertake development activities in Pakistan. It has a presence in 46 Districts in all the four Provinces including Azad Jammu and Kashmir through Regional Offices and Field Offices. NRSP is currently working with more than half a million poor households organized into a network of more than 57,179 Community Organizations. With sustained incremental growth, it is emerging as Pakistan's leading engine for poverty reduction and rural development.
