• This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining a robust Operational risk framework for the bank to proactively prevent/mitigate bank operational risks and losses
    • Develop & Implement operational risk policies, procedures & standards for Operational risk management.
    • Perform operational risk identification and assessment in all business units with specific focus on Branchless Banking Operations.
    • Advise stakeholders for Implementation of operational Controls to prevent and mitigate operational risks in various Operational domains of the
    • bank. Should be able to work in digital environment & focused on automating the processes & procedures.
    • Track and monitor operational risk issues for business units, products & data analysis ensuring proper and accurate reporting is done by various
    • stakeholders.
    • Report operational risk issues and decisions to senior management on regular basis.
    • Risk Review of departmental policies, procedures, manuals, frame works. BRDs, agreements, RPAs etc.
    • Performing UATs, system/application testing and advising relevant stakeholders to address associated risk issues.
    • Performing detailed risk review of Branchless banking operations and identifying risk & controls issues.
    • Analyse root causes of operational risks and provide support to mitigate risk through recommending changes in Policy, Procedures and/ or
    • processes / systems.
    • Develop strong relationship with key stakeholders and business partners by addressing issues/concerns in timely manner.
    • Drive automation of Operational risk processes and implementation of risk analytics.
    • Keep abreast of latest operational risk management techniques and industry best practices
    • Well versed with regulatory framework & guidelines for banks specifically for Microfinance, Branchless Banking & Digital Banking
    • Work closely with key business stakeholders to ensure that there is a consistent and effective management of all aspects of the operational risk
    • framework to identify, assess & monitor operational risk faced by the bank both in branch & branchless domains.
    • To assist in developing Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for operational risks to ensure the escalation of significant risk issues to appropriate
    • management levels
    • To undertake continuous monitoring of key controls / Key Risk Indicators to assess the proper functioning and adequacy of existing controls
    • leading to effective management of Operational Risk.
    • Work with the Line Manager to design RCSAs finalize exceptions / action items and review the RCSAs with the Risk Head.
    • Work with the cross functional teams to improve risk culture in the bank.
    • Team Management
    • Responsible for the day-to-day activities and guidance of their team members. Ensuring that all members understand the team s objectives and work together to achieve the goal.
    • Provide managerial directions where necessary and aiming to keep up the motivational level and team spirit.
    • Hold a Master s degree from a reputable Institution in the fields of Business Administration/Banking & Finance/Risk / Operations or ACCA qualified or CA Finalist
    • Have 6-8 years of relevant experience in Risk/Audit/banks
