What is Head Investigations - MMBL?

The Head of Investigations is a trained professional with expertise in preventing, detecting, and investigating fraud. They possess knowledge of complex financial transactions, investigative techniques, and legal issues. Their skills include resolving fraud allegations, designing effective anti-fraud programs, and collaborating with law enforcement agencies while serving as an expert witness.

What Head Investigations - MMBL does?

Conducting thorough research and investigation of suspected fraud allegations to gather evidence.
Interviewing individuals who are linked or have any information relevant to the fraudulent activity.
Doing background checks, employee investigations, and asset searches on suspected individuals.
Examining various documents like victim testimonies and financial records to find out whether the fraud occurred.
Prepare reports that clearly state the investigations and evidence. These reports have to be shared with the management.
Use Forensic tools and techniques and data analytics to assist in gather forensic evidence.
Deal with law enforcing agencies like FIA etc. and pursue the case on Bank s behalf.
Act as expert witness in case required by the court of law.
Create and implement preventive measures that will stop fraud.
New software tools used for fraud detection, prevention, and reporting have to be recommended that can be used.
Providing expert advice to less experienced staff in case of fraud detection and investigation.
Identifying any possible threats to the company and taking appropriate actions to avoid them promptly.

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Head Investigations - MMBL?

Holds a Bachelor s degree. However, Master s in Finance would be preferred.
Certified Fraud Examiner or related Certification would be preferred.
At least 7 years of running high profile investigations with a proven track record in Banking industry.
