What is Assistant Manager Databased Administrator - MMBL?

Bachelor's or Masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 2 years of experience as DBA or related roles. Strong Knowledge of MSQL Server Database, Oracle (11g,12c,19c) is must. Familiarity with Database monitoring tool and incident management processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage high-pressure situations.

What Assistant Manager Databased Administrator - MMBL does?

Strong knowledge of databases MS- SQL Server and Oracle Databases. Knowledge of RAC, Creating Disaster Recovery Site and Always On is must. Perform Backup & Recovery Tasks Testing backup & recovery procedures as part of routine exercises Server and virtualization technologies Coordinating with Vendor where Vendor engagement is necessary Devising mechanisms and solutions for archiving to control data growth. Ensuring that storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly. Shell scripting to automate day-to-day jobs on Linux based platforms. Conducting DR Drills as part of yearly exercise Compliance and implementation of all policies and procedure in true spirit. Also, ensure compliance to IT audit observations and recommendation. Also, ensure compliance to IT audit observations and recommendation. Regular review and update of all documentation of the domain area. Performance tuning, managing parameters to provide fast responses to end users. Must have experience working with Databases on Linux RHEL & Windows Server Platforms. Prior experience/knowledge of DWH, Reporting, ETL & BI & Analytics will be preferred. Troubleshoot and resolve end-user queries related to Databases.
