JOB OVERVIEW
As the Hospital Director for MDMI – Midland Doctors Medical Institute, a setup of British Registered Charity – Midland Doctors, you will be responsible for providing leadership and operational management to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care to poor and needy people in AJK, North Pakistan.
Your role will involve leading, managing, and achieving fundraising targets in Azad Kashmir and Pakistan, business development and setting standards and strategies for the hospital in compliance with all applicable regulatory and licensing agencies.
The Hospital Director will determine and formulate policies and provide overall direction for the organisation within guidelines set by the EXEC board of Hospital Directors. This role requires a resourceful individual capable of generating business from hospital resources, developing the hospital through influence, and working operationally with international doctors and volunteers. The Hospital Director must effectively coordinate operational activities at the highest level with the assistance of the management team and EXEC members.

Working Conditions:
The work is typically carried out during regular business hours, but the Hospital Director may need to work extra hours as necessary to meet the organisation's needs. Some travel within Pakistan may be necessary to attend meetings, conferences, or other events. Additionally, the Hospital Director may occasionally be called upon to oversee humanitarian relief operations, which may involve site visits and coordination of teams.
Salary:
The salary for a Hospital Director is negotiable and will be commensurate with the size and type of healthcare organisation and the candidate’s level of experience.
