Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Develop and implement project work plans and review periodically as deemed appropriate to address the needs of changing situations within the project scope.
Manage project resources and budget ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
Ensure justified division of labor among subordinates and apprise management periodically on the attainment of project outputs and outcomes.
Supervise field teams and support functions for timely provision of supplies, equipment, and tools at field teams; data collection and recording as well as risk identification and risk reduction at operational sites.
Monitor and evaluate project activities, identify issues and bottlenecks, recommend mitigation measures for improved performance ultimately impacting the success of the intervention.
Ensure synergy building and coordination with relevant stakeholders at the district and sub-district levels.
Supervise teams engaged at the field level in case of need for conflict resolution, mitigation of risks, and improved community engagement.
Conduct capacity building of staff in areas of community mobilization, data management, and report compilation in relation to project targets with the application of innovative approaches ensuring compliance with standards.
Collect data periodically, collate, analyze, and consolidate data. Track progress against the target milestones.
Compile monthly and project completion reports and data matrix.
Additional assignments as assigned by the line Manager.

Essential requirements:

Master’s degree in social sciences or bachelor's with adequate experience in health and nutrition-related projects.
Adequate experience of community-based interventions which may include health promotion and prevention, immunization, WASH, and food distribution.
Adequate experience of project management and capacity building in emergency situations.
