The Mechanical Assistant provides technical support to mechanical engineers and technicians, assisting with design, development, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist mechanical engineers with design and development projects.
- Prepare technical drawings, diagrams, and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Assist with installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
- Perform calculations and simulations to optimize mechanical performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, civil, manufacturing).
- Maintain records of mechanical systems, spare parts, and inventory.
- Assist with procurement of mechanical components and materials.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
