We are seeking a skilled and experienced English to Urdu translator and Copywriter to translate educational content from English to Urdu.

The ideal candidate will have a strong command of both languages, with particular expertise in mathematical terminology. You will be responsible for translating math textbooks and supplementary materials, ensuring accuracy in both language and mathematical content.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate math books from English to Urdu, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
Maintain the mathematical integrity of the original text while translating.
Use appropriate terminology for math concepts, equations, and problems.
Collaborate with editors and subject matter experts to ensure translations meet educational standards.
Format translated text to match the structure of the original book (equations, diagrams, etc.).
Review and proofread the translated content for grammatical, mathematical, and contextual accuracy.
Meet project deadlines and manage translation workflows efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Fluent in Urdu and English (both written and verbal).
Proven experience in translating mathematical or technical content.
Strong understanding of mathematical concepts, terminology, and educational methods.
Familiarity with math education standards in Urdu-speaking regions.
Proficiency in translation tools (CAT tools) or manual translation practices.
Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in mathematical language and expressions.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
Previous experience in academic publishing or textbook translation.
Knowledge of educational tools and formatting in Urdu for educational content (especially for math).
