To ensure that all hygiene and cleanliness standards are consistently maintained across the store premises, aligning with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role is critical in fostering a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Hygiene Management:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor store hygiene policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure cleanliness in all store areas, including customer zones, storage rooms, display shelves, and refrigeration units.
  • Supervise and inspect daily cleaning routines and schedules.

Waste Management:

  • Oversee waste disposal processes, ensuring compliance with environmental and waste management regulations.
  • Implement waste reduction initiatives in collaboration with store teams.

Pest Control:

  • Coordinate with pest control service providers for regular checks and treatments.
  • Maintain records of pest control schedules and preventive measures.

Training & Awareness:

  • Train store staff on hygiene practices, including personal hygiene, cleaning procedures, and food safety (if relevant).
  • Conduct periodic workshops or refresher sessions on hygiene best practices.

Incident Management:

  • Respond promptly to hygiene-related complaints or incidents, ensuring effective resolution.
  • Investigate and document hygiene breaches or health-related incidents, implementing measures to prevent recurrence.
