Operation Theater Preparation:

Prepare and sterilize the operation theater, ensuring all surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and sterile.
Set up the OT according to the procedure, ensuring instruments are arranged as per the surgeon's requirements.

Assisting During Surgery:

Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies during procedures.
Ensure the OT is clean and organized, adhering to infection control standards.
Monitor and maintain the sterile field to prevent contamination.

Patient Care and Transport:

Help in positioning and transferring patients before and after surgery.
Monitor patients’ vitals during pre-operative and post-operative procedures under the guidance of the medical team.

Inventory and Equipment Management:

Manage inventory and ensure OT is well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Check and maintain the functionality of all equipment, reporting any faults to the supervisor.

Documentation:

Maintain records of supplies, instruments, and materials used in each surgery.
Document and report any adverse incidents, assisting in follow-up as required.

Compliance with Safety Protocols:

Adhere to all hospital and OT-specific safety and sanitation protocols.
Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow the guidelines for handling hazardous materials.
