Qualifications:
- Master's in Relevant Discipline
Experience:
- 7 years of hands-on experience in technology and international trade research
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on international trade and customs laws for IOR/EOR services of IT hardware, including taxes, duties, tariffs, specifications, and restrictions.
- Investigate required documentation for IOR/EOR services and vendor/partner contracts.
- Study technological advancements, global logistics, international supply chains, and emerging markets to expand business services.
- Analyze competitors' IOR/EOR service offerings to understand strategies and suggest enhancements.
- Recommend relevant platforms such as conferences, symposiums, networking events, and seminars for local and international business opportunities.
- Identify and liaise with new vendors/partners worldwide, maintain relationships with existing partners for rates, customs brokerage, and delivery logistics.
- Assess potential risks related to non-compliance, logistics, supply chains, and technology hardware manufacturing that could impact the business.
- Use various research tools to gather data and conduct in-depth analysis.
- Maintain and update databases of vendors, trade laws, regulations, contracts, and trade documents.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on research findings, providing actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate research insights into business and departmental strategies.
