We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to join our team and drive the growth of our trucking carrier network. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sales, excellent communication skills, and experience in the transportation or logistics industry. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for bringing new truck carriers on board, nurturing relationships, and ensuring the seamless integration of carriers into our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrier Acquisition: Identify, approach, and onboard qualified truck carriers to expand our network. 
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, ensuring their long-term engagement and satisfaction with our services. 
  • Negotiations: Conduct sales presentations, negotiate rates, and finalize agreements with carriers to secure partnerships. 
  • Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, carrier needs, and competitor offerings to provide valuable insights and strategies for improving the onboarding process. 
  • Carrier Support: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure carriers have the necessary tools and resources for a successful onboarding experience. 
  • Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets related to carrier acquisition and retention. 
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on carrier acquisition activities, market conditions, and sales performance to management. 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative, preferably in the transportation, logistics, or trucking industry. 
  • Strong understanding of trucking carrier operations and industry dynamics. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. 

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in carrier onboarding or a similar role. 
  • Existing network of truck carriers or relationships within the logistics industry.
