Manager Accounts / Finance

The Manager Accounts / Finance will oversee and manage the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budget management, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving financial health by analyzing financial data, managing cash flow, overseeing audits, and implementing effective financial controls.

1- Age: 30 – 40

2- Qualification: CA Finalist or ACCA.

3- Experience: 10+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting:

Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounting, invoicing, payroll, and budgeting.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards (GAAP/IFRS).
Lead the preparation of budgets and forecasts; monitor and control actual performance against the budgets.
Generate financial reports for senior management and key stakeholders to assist in strategic decision-making.

Accounts Management:

Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts, closing of books, and proper documentation of transactions.
Manage the end-of-month closing process and ensure all deadlines are met.

Compliance & Auditing:

Ensure adherence to financial regulations and compliance with tax laws.
Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants during audits and tax assessments.
Maintain internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and manage financial risk.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management:

Monitor the company’s financial liquidity and ensure adequate funding for operations.
Prepare cash flow forecasts to ensure optimal cash management.
Develop strategies for investment, financing, and cost control to improve financial efficiency.

Team Leadership:

Lead and manage the finance and accounts team, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback.
Set goals and objectives for team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Communication:

Collaborate with department heads to understand and forecast financial needs.
Communicate with external vendors, clients, and financial institutions regarding financial matters.
Report to senior management and provide financial insights to aid in decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; a Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial capacity.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and financial controls.
Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced Excel skills.
Knowledge of taxation, auditing procedures, and regulatory compliance.
