The Manager Technical & Design at Interwood Mobel Pvt Limited plays a crucial role in the successful delivery of complex projects through effective leadership and collaboration. The Manager utilizes robust technical acumen and design skills to tackle challenges, ensuring timely and accurate execution of design and technical schedules while maintaining a harmonious synergy among internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities

  • Engage with Sales and Client teams to comprehensively gather project requirements, clarify queries, and support initial estimations, including Bill of Quantities (BOQs), drawings, and schedules.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee the timely and accurate processing of quotations and order bookings, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
  • Delegate and assign responsibilities effectively to team members, overseeing their tasks to ensure smooth project execution from inception through to completion.
  • Utilize advanced technical development knowledge and design thinking to creatively address and resolve complex project requirements, while adhering to best practices.
  • Ensure that all contract terms meet IWM standards, covering critical aspects such as payment terms, consequences of non-compliance, and delivery timelines.
  • Oversee management of design and technical schedules, ensuring that all project milestones are achieved within target dates to maintain client satisfaction.
  • Facilitate clear and efficient communication with site teams for size approvals, the Sales team for order booking and material specifications, and the Production team to guarantee precise design execution.
  • Partner with Supply Chain Management (SCM) and purchasing departments to secure essential materials necessary for the timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of project files and email communications for easy retrieval and reference, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead team meetings and discussions to foster collaboration, share knowledge, and enhance team skills, ensuring everyone is aligned with project goals and objectives.
