Intercargo Logistics, a leading global logistics solutions provider, is expanding our digital presence and innovating our online platforms. We're seeking a talented and motivated Backend Developer to join our dynamic team and propel our business forward in the digital age.
Required Technical Skills:
- MUST HAVE Extensive experience in building and maintaining APIs, microservices, and backend systems.
- MUST HAVE Proven track record of developing robust and scalable server-side applications.
- MUST HAVE 3-5 years of experience with server-side languages such as C#.
- MUST HAVE 3-5 years of experience with back-end frameworks like .Net Core.
- MUST HAVE 3-5 years of experience with databases such as SQL.
- Experience with version control systems such as Github and Azure.
- Knowledge of web security best practices.
- Understanding of responsive design principles.
- Familiarity with web performance optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in using developer tools and debugging techniques.
- Ability to create and maintain project documentation, including code comments and technical documentation.
Required Experience:
- Previous experience working as a backend developer or in a related role.
- Experience collaborating with designers, developers, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Soft Skills:
- MUST HAVE Strong problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability to learn new technologies and tools quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality code.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Creativity and innovation in finding solutions to technical challenges.
- Strong work ethic and professionalism.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering.
- Relevant certifications or bootcamp completion may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Additional Desired Skills:
- Understanding of cloud computing platforms such as Azure.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like JIRA.
- Experience with mobile app development or cross-platform development frameworks like Xamarin, React Native, or Flutter.
Job Type: Full-Time - Office Based (remote work is not allowed)
Salary: Up to PKR 200,000 (based on experience)
Office Location: 2nd Floor, One Expressway, Gulberg Greens Interchange, Main Islamabad Highway, Islamabad
