Responsibilities:

 

  • Surveillance and Monitoring: Utilize surveillance equipment, including cameras and alarms, to monitor premises for suspicious activity or breaches in security.
  • Patrolling: Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect security threats, including unauthorized access, vandalism, or theft.
  • Access Control: Enforce access control measures by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, or incidents, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of individuals and property.
  • Reporting: Document and report incidents, accidents, or breaches of security protocols in detail, maintaining accurate records for administrative and legal purposes.
  • Customer Service: Provide assistance and support to employees, visitors, and clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and emergencies with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and recommend preventive measures to mitigate risks.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other security staff, law enforcement agencies, and emergency services to coordinate responses and share information effectively.
  • Training: Participate in ongoing training programs to stay updated on security procedures, emergency response protocols, and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Maintaining Equipment: Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot security equipment, such as cameras, alarms, and communication devices, to ensure functionality and reliability.
  • Conflict Resolution: Mediate conflicts and diffuse tense situations using effective communication and de-escalation techniques to prevent violence or disruption.
  • Compliance: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and legal regulations governing security operations, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Physical Security: Ensure physical security measures are in place and maintained, including locks, barriers, and perimeter fencing, to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Crisis Management: Assist in developing and implementing crisis management plans and protocols to respond effectively to emergencies or threats to security.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using inventory management software or systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
  • Security experience is required.
