Position: Senior GIS Analyst
Location: Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan
Qualification: Degree in Geography, Surveyor, Systems Engineer, Mining Engineer, Geologist oriented to Information Analysis.
Experience: 10 years of work experience, and at least 6 years of those in functions similar to those described for the position, in the mining sector and preferably in Explorations.
Requirements:
- Requires knowledge in Geographic information systems:
- Advanced knowledge of ESRI/GIS platforms such as: ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Arc Map, Geoprocessing and analysis, Survey 123, Field Maps,
- Intermediate knowledge of GIS Applications/Plugin: Target for ArcGIS, Target
- Knowledge from the intermediate level in Database: SQL Server intermediate level
- Programming language: Python, desirable
- English, advanced level. Skills in personnel management and leadership
Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize GIS information for exploration projects, lead GIS improvements, ensure geodatabase alignment, use Geoinformatics standards, coordinate GIS activities, optimize geological data processes, ensure data accuracy, enforce Health and Safety, Code of Conduct, Environmental, and Community Relations policies, and promote a culture of safety, integrity, environmental care, and community respect.
