Job Summary:
We are seeking a vigilant and experienced Security Guard to monitor our premises and ensure the safety of our staff, visitors, and assets. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to act swiftly in emergencies. You will be responsible for enforcing all security policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized access, theft, and disturbances.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence.
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people into the property.
- Remove trespassers or unwanted individuals from the area.
- Secure all exits, doors, and windows after end of operations.
- Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.
- Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies in case of emergencies.
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.
- Provide assistance to people in need.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a security guard or relevant position.
- Trained in security procedures and non-confrontational crisis intervention techniques.
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
- Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.
- Must be reliable and trustworthy
