Position: Lifting Supervisor
Location: Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan
Qualification:
LEEA Level 1 or Level 2– Rigging and Lifting Certification. International Rigging and Lifting Certifications and Accreditations (highly desirable). UKQAM Rigging and Lifting Supervisor Certification. Working at Heights 3rd party certification by a recognized training provider. HTV license. Basic Lifting and Rigging Certification.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience if LEEA Level 2/Minimum 8 years of experience if LEEA Level 1. Field level experience on rigging and heavy lifting with all types of cranes (tandem lifting). Experience with writing procedures and standards – Lifting and Rigging.
Requirements:
- Strong relationship-building, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Exhibit strong organization and planning skills.
- Excellent with Auto CAD software.
- Deep understanding of lifting and rigging regulations and safety standards, including national and state legislation and guidelines.
- Knowledge of international lifting and rigging standards/regulations and code of practices (highly desirable).
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate and communicate with workers and other stakeholders involved in the lifting operation.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise RDMC lifting operations, manage crane personnel safety compliance, plan and organize lifts, assess sites, develop safe lifting plans, oversee major lifts, train workers, conduct safety meetings, perform on-site safety observations, coordinate personnel, ensure equipment compliance, identify and mitigate risks, and prevent accidents.
