Essential Duties:
- Operate front-end loaders to load, unload, and move materials around construction sites or other designated locations.
- Use the loader's bucket or other attachments to scoop up and transport materials to trucks, conveyors, or other storage areas.
- Ensure proper positioning and leveling of the loader for safe and efficient operation.
- Follow predetermined loading and unloading procedures to minimize spillage and maximize efficiency.
- Inspect the loader before each use to check for any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Perform routine maintenance on the loader, such as checking fluid levels, lubricating moving parts, and replacing worn or damaged components.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate activities and ensure smooth workflow.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, accidents, or incidents to the appropriate personnel and follow company procedures for documenting and reporting incidents.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the loader and surrounding work area.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a front-end loader operator or similar role.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness (Dover test).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of operating front-end loaders and other heavy equipment.
- Ability to interpret and follow instructions and blueprints.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks such as lifting and carrying heavy loads.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety at all times.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication in local languages and Urdu.
