The company is looking for a highly motivated and driven Private Equity Analyst to join their team of seasoned operators, entrepreneurs, and investors as they look to acquire, operate, and grow a portfolio of small vertical market software businesses.

As a Private Equity Analyst, you will:

Develop detailed databases of potential acquisition targets and brokers, using lead generation tools and manual research efforts.
Research, identify, and develop theses for attractive industries and companies.
Prepare communication and conduct outreach to owners and brokers to generate deal flow and build relationships with key stakeholders.
Review and analyze information provided by potential acquisition targets.
Participate in and take notes on calls with counterparties (owners, brokers, etc.).
Support due diligence efforts on potential acquisitions (market research, company research, financial modeling, etc.).
Conduct various ad hoc tasks (processing NDAs, managing CRM, drafting LOIs, etc.).

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Bachelors degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field from a top university and demonstration of excellent academic performance.
1+ year of experience in a finance, data, and/or analytical role.
A passion for private equity, finance, and/or entrepreneurship.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to handle a high volume of data and perform the necessary tasks associated with creating large databases of potential target companies.
Ability and willingness to do grunt work to achieve fund objectives.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong track record of success and progression in previous roles.
