We are seeking a relatively experienced resource to work as a tax Specialist in our client's Finance team who will be mainly responsible for Direct tax compliances and Tax Audit support activities. Plus, some of the treasury and core finance activities knowledge and experience will be an added advantage.

Main Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Weekly Withholding tax payments: This includes the data extraction from GL, making reconciliation, preparation of PSIDs, applying payments in ERP, getting relevant approvals, coordination with relevant Accounts payable team for payment clearance.
- Maintenance of record for CPRs of suppliers WHT, providing certificates to suppliers
- Filing of quarterly WHT statements on FBR portal
- Preparation of data for tax audit purposes
- Review of financial and tax terms of the contracts with suppliers
- Resolving disputes with suppliers for any tax related issues
- Coordination with HQ for any sort of data and recon requirements
- Any other related task assigned by the team lead
Requirements:
- Practical experience of filing WHT quarterly statements, VAT monthly filings, WHT weekly payments and similar compliances on FBR IRIS portal.
- Working experience of accounting and tax firm is preferred.
- Excellent English written and presentational skills
Career Level: At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Tax professional.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree, B. Com/C.A part qualified/MBA Finance
Job Location: Islamabad, Pakistan.
